Effects of Exposure:  Internal: respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, convulsing, vomiting, death.

Other Health Hazards: To the best of our knowledge the acute and chronic toxicity of this substance has not been fully investigated

 

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

INHALATION:  Remove from exposure, seek immediate medical attention. 

INGESTION:  Seek immediate medical attention.

SKIN:  Remove contaminated clothing, flood skin with large amounts of water.  Seek medical assistance as necessary, especially if irritation develops or persists.

EYE:  Immediately flush eyes, including under eyelids, with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes.  Call a physician.

VII.   SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES

Steps to Be Taken in Case Material Is Released or Spilled:  Sweep up and place in airtight plastic container.

Waste Disposal:  Ship to precious metal refiner.  Dispose of in accordance with State, Federal and Local regulations.

IX.   SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Precautions to Be Taken in Handling and Storage:  Keep container tightly closed.  Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.  Wash thoroughly after use.

Work Practices:  Implement engineering and work practice controls to reduce and maintain concentration of exposure at low levels.  Use good housekeeping and sanitation practices.  Do not use tobacco or food in work area.  Wash thoroughly before eating and smoking.  Do not blow dust off clothing or skin with compressed air.  Maintain eyewash capable of sustained flushing, safety drench shower and facilities for washing.
